Renfrew Elementary - After-School (Spring 2025)

Come explore the power of strategic thinking through Chess. Enroll your child in this screen-free class that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. The program will focus on learning piece functions, openings, endgame tactics, variations and puzzles (depending on the skill level). To keep things fresh and provide occasional downtime, kids will also have the opportunity to learn strategy-based board-games such as Mastermind, Blokus, Chinese Checkers, Match Madness, Codenames and many more.

Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Open to: Kids in Kindergarten and above
