About the event

Come explore the power of strategic thinking through an engaging blend of engaging and hands-on Chess and strategy-based board games such as Mastermind, Blokus, Chinese Checkers, Match Madness, Codenames, and more. In this screen-free class, students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on play and guided instruction. Chess and board games that help build collaboration, team-work, and relationships are a focus, allowing students to strengthen planning, pattern recognition, spatial awareness, logic, and decision-making in a variety of ways.
