Spring Break Camp (16-20 March) - Board Games, Puzzles & Chess

Come explore the power of strategic thinking through fun, engaging, hands-on and strategy-based board-games such as Chess, Mastermind, Blokus, Chinese Checkers, Match Madness, Codenames and many more. In this adventure, students will learn the importance of planning, making thoughtful choices and understanding the reasons behind their decisions while playing games and having fun. The program will focus on teaching kids new board-games, strategic foundations, skill development and game strategy improvement. When playing chess, the focus will be on learning piece functions, openings, endgame tactics, variations and puzzles (depending on the skill level). 

This SCREEN-FREE Camp will feature fun, educational and challenging activities for kids of all skill-levels.

Open to: Kids in Kindergarten and above

Location: Duncan Hall - North Lonsdale United Church (3380 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7N 3K2)

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Time

• Drop-Off: 8:45am onwards

• Pick-Up: Between 4:30pm and 4:45pm

Kids need to bring:

• Packed, peanut-free lunch

• 2 peanut-free snacks

• Water bottle

• Comfortable shoes for outdoor play/walks
